Let's welcome the upcoming holiday with new set of easter theme nail art. This is specially created and painted to match the festive theme =D A simple set that comprise of easter egg and bunny. Since it's a cheerful festive, so decided to have it in multiple colors.

First time dining at jurong bird park. Had a yummy american breakfast @ bongo burger :) Drinks to be ordered separately. Reasonable price @ S$6.90 per plate. Another good choice if you are staying at the west and craving for american breakfast, yet lazy to head to town.

 

 

nice potato snack

Came across this superb nice snack when having my usual stock replenishment at supermarket. Decided to add it into my basket since it's having promotion for purchasing two packets and special flavour that caught my eyes. Purple potato! There are 5 small packets in a big packaging. It tastes really yummy and addictive :p Reminding myself to drink more water, as I felt my throat slightly dry after munching it.

 

 

surprise from seller

Recently  bought a cufflinks storage box online. Wanted to meet up for collection, but seller's schedule was tight for these two weeks and ask me to go via mail. Free gift will be throw in. When I received the free gift, to my surprise it was a rainbow design cufflinks. Similar theme as I set for one of my upcoming event.

Dined at momiji japanese buffet restaurant with my poly girls. First meetup in year 2013. This time round not for any celebrations, but just a casual gathering. The most attractive of the buffet was the haagen dazs ice-cream =) Soup wasn't that hot enough.

lunar new year celebration

Gong xi fa cai!! How's your cny/long public holiday? Hope everyone has enjoyed, especially for Chinese. Once a year gathering with all the relatives who you hardly see during the normal days hehehe And also enjoying those yummy cny goodies which you may only munch it once a year. Guess it's one of the festival which the kids love the most haha Going round for house visits to collect  angbaos. However, the weather is slightly specially this year. Raining non-stop since a week before the cny. But, I'm sure it doesn't affect our mood much after all the happy gatherings :)

 

Usual cny celebration in office with lion dance performance. Notice the angbao decoration on the board with a snake design?? That's our lucky draw prizes. If our names were being draw, we were free to select and pick any one of the angbaos that we like. Feel happy although I'm one of the last few names that were being draw and I pick an angbao with 2nd prize in it. A nespresso essenza titan coffee machine. Going to keep it for my new house =)

 

 

 

 

 

cny flower arrangement contest

First time took part in the flower arrangement contest organised by my teacher. It's a new experience. Materials and photo were provided and participants were to arrange the flowers according to the photo. A new challenge as when I got the flowers, they are still very fresh and weren't really bloom yet. Glad that my arrangement still manage to rank the 4th =)

New set of manicure for cny. I know I'm slightly behind the trend, but at least it's something fresh new :p My first time putting on the 'crack' nail polish from faceshop. Did the base in multi-color to make it look brighter as it is cny festive.

First yusheng tossing of the year. May year 2013 continue to be a good year and most importantly bless with good health. Got this from online deal when I came across and found it quite worth as it has abalone slices. Yu Sheng with abalone from Boon Tong Kee =) The sauce smell quite nice and overall taste not bad too. You must have notice some orange slice which look like salmon in it right? Hehehe You are right! There are salmon, but is the additional ingredient which I got it from cold storage and added in =p

Have you ever seen cookies with smurf design?? Lol Cute right? I got it from Candy Empire. Angry bird design is available too. No artifical flavouring and colors.

Finally took out my new bedsheet for cny use =) My forever love - precious moment print hehehe Although this color looks abit old in the package, it looks bright upon display. The only color available when I bought it.

 

bak kwa salad

Glad and satisfied with my cookies baking. Thanks to all the supporters and hope they will enjoy the yummy cookies which are specially baked for them. I truely felt that homemade cookies must be well-baked with premium baking ingredients. Otherwise, we can simply get it from outside off the shelves and what's the point of spend the precious time and effort. We can get it at cheap price from outside too and it will make no differences. This is my principle of self-baking =)

 

 

Cny is round the corner. Counting down....6days to cny eve and 7 days to 大年初一。Believe most of you have already start munching your delicious bak kwa right? Worrying how oily and fatten it is, but can't resist this yearly temptation. Hehehe No worry, here's a new choice of having bak kwa in a more diet balancing way. Pair it with salad! That's what I did =p But....I only had it once, because I'm quite particular with the texture and seasoning of the bak kwa. So far, I'm still sticking on to my top three preferred brand - 金品香， lin zhi yuan and Chai Ho. And I wanted to say that I missed 金品香 bak kwa so much. But sad to say that I'm not able to get any from it again this year as I went too late. Went down on friday after work and it was sold out =(
