Nice to meet up with old old fren hehe dine at pasta waruku @ Hereen branch. Pasta taste yummy even the one with black ink sauce. It has a nice smell & taste. Duration to get our serve wasnt that long but the service still wasn't that gd. Got a hard time trying to get the waiter attended to us for re-filling of ice water. Quite surprise that the biz was quite gd during a wkend nite. Is almost full-hse lor.

*The Central branch: pasta do not taste that nice, abit too hard. The pasta is only about 75% cooked.

Long time since i had my meal over here =) rojak, satay, fried oyster, bbq chicken wing (first time trying, don't really like the sticky skin) & sugarcane juice with lemon =D But the thai tom yum soup was not open agn =( guess someone's saliva must be dripping while looking at this pix haha =p

Jurong East library's cafe can be recommended as a place for relaxing. Enjoying the delicious food while having some reading in e lazy afternoon. Cafe Galilee not only sells cakes & drinks, they do have finger food & main course too. Too my surprise, the food taste quite nice & at an affordable price too. You can get a main course dish at around $7.90. But the service isn't that good as the waiter is slight blur & forgotten my drink. After he went to make my drink, he walked out & couldn't recognise me & walk back to counter again. My hot vanilla became warm vanilla.

Long time since I been to vivo by train hehe usually by bus. The train stn has renovated & exist to the malls are changed. Got abit lost when I took exist C & the 1st sight I saw taxi stand when out of e escalator lol Have a nice dinner @ Italian restaurant, Modesto's. Quite big serving portion. Treated by one of e evils as my belated bday & her promo =) Congrat to her for another level up in her work! And not forgetting the Ben & Jerry treat by another evil hahaha

It's been sometime I been to bugis. Finally it's not raining, though it rain at late morning around 11am. Bugis street really changes. But not the delicious food =) Long time didn't dine in V8 cafe also le. Miss their chicken chop but didn't try it tonite cos of the late lunch of clam chowder & fried sweet potato hehehe so only have some fingerfood instead + dessert. Overall, V8 cafe prices are quite affordable & worthy.

Another jap food dinner. But this time round no more sushi, is ramen hahaha but still the same is jap food. Really have enough of jap food le =x

bottle tree park

Bottle Tree Park =) quite a nice place. There's a big pond for fishing as well as sheltered mini pond for kids. Swan padding is also available. Another good place for family outing, esp those with kids. There are also functional rooms available for events, meetings, celebration etc.

last day of holiday

It's friday, a bad friday ba. Time really flies. Today marks the last day of my holiday. Last night went to onepa website and check out about rice dumpling making workshop & realise most of the CC start to have this workshop le as dragon boat festival is coming. Happen to see that the nearby CC has the workshop for this morning. I signed up immediately. Overall not too bad, but guess the recipe still need to modify to suit individual preference ba =p Will do so after i master how to get the folding done nicely =p it's a form of 手艺。Require practice =) But is quite time consuming hahaha

Planned to go bugis as weekday afternoon wont be tat much people, but didn't get to go. 天不做美，竟然下起了大雨。Didn't even manage to go over opposite coffeshop to da bao my lunch lor =( terrible friday. Totally spoil my friday. Once open the door & saw the heavy downpour, just make one feel so sian to go out. End up having cup noodle with egg. Lucky the previous day just buy cup noodle.

Lucky evening meet up with friends still go well =p Went for sushi buffet. Wow, this the second time I have sushi buffet within a week le ba. Really have enough of jap food hahaha guess gona stop having jap food for at least a mth =p After that, went chilling but find the drink so bitter & yucky hahaha guess it's been quite sometime since I went chilling le ba =p Hmmm.....and now outside 突然又下起了大雨....guess is time for a good sleep =)

this is also 2 plates serving, the no of slices increase per order, don't know why also hahaha ordered another 1 plate (came with 6 slices) but didn't take photo =p

Simply luv Suki Sushi buffet although most people will prefer Sakae Sushi/ Sushi Tei. But to me, Suki Sushi will be well enough & it doesn't taste horrible till where. And most importantly, its buffet include salmon sashimi, my fav!,which Sakae Sushi doesn't. Kekeke the freshness of the salmon is still ok la somemore with student rate, I find it quite reasonable. And the cooked oyster taste quite nice too. yum yum~~ and the filling of the cream puff taste like ice cream haha i also prefer their traditional type of chawamashi than Sakae Sushi new chawamashi. But never taste their soft shell crab, it's horrible =p & the fried vegetable come in a few huge big lumps (can only see the flour lor), yucks.....

Heard that Killiney has one sushi buffet that include salmon sashimi too but at a more expensive price =p Hmm....maybe will try that the next time when I'm not entitle to any student benefit anymore =p

KL trip

Just back from a short getaway 3D2N trip to KL (7-9 may, fri-sun). Went there by grassland coach. Mainly went to the shopping malls & KL chinatown, so nothing much to take photo also hahaha but will recommend Hotel Istana if you are particular about cleaness & comfortable of the hotel =) Is a 5 stars hotel with quite reasonable rate (~S$100 per nite) locate in the golden triangle of KL & near to the monorail stn. Hmm...guess with this rate in sg u can only get the most a 3 stars hotel ba hahaha still rmb last yr christmas celebration went to a new 4 stars? hotel at bugis already cost about S$160+ per nite. And the room is quite small. But for Hotel Istana, the room is real big (with iron in the wardrobe) & the toilet consist of a bath tub, shower room, toilet cubical & 2 handwash sinks =D Most importantly, the bed is very very comfortable! Never expect it will be such a nice & comfort room.

As for shopping malls, the selling items are about the same as sg ba, jus that their shopping mall is very big. Just only Berjaya Time Square itself, already 就会走到脚酸了咯 =p Guess none of sg shopping mall can compare to KL shopping mall in term of the size of the shopping mall.

Oh ya, talking about the monorail, they have 3 different types of rail transit lor. Monorail, LRT, train.
