New favourite to keep me awake for my 1.5 weeks of full day training. Had my 2.5 weeks of part-time work shift for consecutive days during this period also -_-" Hopefully I'm able to survive through. Will be having another round of 2 weeks of consecutive days in coming october for my part-time work shift again =(

bbq cum mid autumn

Was walking through giant supermarket with my buddies & saw some portable bbq equipments. Long time since we had bbq together, so decided to organise one. Choose this sat just near mid-autumn festival to celebrate the festival together. Although it rain e whole day, lucky e rain stopped just a few hours in e everning. Just nice for us to get our yummy food warm up before it continue to rain again. Was a nice time gathering with my primary school buddies =)

Bukit Timah Food Market again =D Had zhi char this time round. Disappointed that e tom yum soup stall was closed again. However, still happy dining at old place.

durian mooncake

First time having durian mooncake =p Charcoal snowskin durian mooncake for my little sis as her birthday cake =) Taste not too bad. Marriott hotel & xin cruisine mao shang wang mooncake also quite yummy with thick & rich durian filling.

teochew yam mooncake

Nice teochew yam mooncake *thumb up* and not too sweet. Happen to taste it at vivo city mooncake fair. Recommend this to my colleague and her family has positive comment on it too =) Came to know that the lady boss is actually a teochew, no wonder the recipe is so yummy. They only produce mooncakes during mid autumn festival only.

Celebrated one of my poly buddies belated birthday at hard rock. The food taste not too bad with big serving portion. The price of e drink quite worthy also. For certain category of e drink we can collect e glass =D A very different celebration. The staffs will present you a sundae ice cream & sing you birthday song.

Nice pasta with steak at plaza singapura. Had this on national day. Had my movie marathon also. Watched 'horrible bosses' & 'cowboy and aliens'.

universal studio singapore

First visit to USS. Feel that it's abit similar to disneyland, just that disneyland is more fairytale theme. Every rides here are of action and with sprinkling of water. Shrek 4D is quite nice, but people with weaker health may not be suitable to watch. People who do not take rides, guess it will be enough for them to visit on friday and weekend night with the S$5 entrance fee. However, I missed out the firework. Will visit again on friday night =)

lazy afternoon

Had a lazy afternoon lunching cum high tea at IMM coffee club. GSS promotion 1 for 1 on sandwich, pasta or baked rice till 31 July 2011. Guess the outlets are getting lesser and perhaps the only one in west side. The service here wasn't really good. However still enjoy and appreciate the time spent with my buddies, chatting and resting on this hot sunday afternoon. A super slow pace of life. Hope to have such session monthly or bimonthly =p

Brownie cheesecake for my dear twins' birthday =) First time trying out in this combination. My sister had eaten this somewhere & told me about it. Since I had made lemon cheesecake & brownie before, it's a good try to combine them. Hope my twins like it & may she've a smooth path in her life jus as smooth as the lemon cheese texture =)

Celebrated father day for my grandpa at prima tower. Find the food average and not as fantastic as what other customers had told me. Most of the dishes are made of egg & starch and vinegar. Guess maybe is because of the promotion that cause the food not as tasty. Dessert is also made of egg white (fried bun filled with egg white & red bean filling).

Dragon Boat festival is round e corner again, 6 Jun. Time of rice dumplings. Made some nonya dumplings on sunday. My second attempt after last year. Last year forgot to take a picture of my master piece =p Guess taste still e same, but prefer it to be sweeter and more spicy with more pepper added. Shall edit e recipe slightly next year ;) Mom helped me with the preparation of e ingredients and e wrapping part was all leave it to me. Guess e leaves were soaked too long this time round and it was super soft. Didn't bother to wrap it nicely too haha and most of it turned out to have a lobang at one of e corner =x Although it doesn't look nice, as long as it taste yummy will do right. LOL
