last day of february

Guess it's e shortest month among e year with only 28 days in a month. Yes! I'm so looking forward to 2012 last day of February, 29! Just loving 29-Feb this unique date so much. Alot people must be don't really like it cause it's a date that only appear once every four years =) Especially any ocassion that fall on this unique & rare & special date which mean one is only able to celebrate it once every four years =p On e other hand, one may want to hold a grand & big celebration if he/she wish. Thus, this will mark a even more memorable time hehehe =)

new lifestyle

Good news =) Received a phone call last night from segar rc informing me about e status of my part-time job interview held 2 weeks back. Start work on coming mon 28-feb! =) I'm still thinking maybe application failed because it had been 2 weeks but still no news =p Guess new lifestyle gona start very soon~No more slacking around after work. Time to get some extra income. Will be working as part-time administrator 2hrs per day (730-930pm). After familarising with e systems etc, it'll be based on a rotating working day with another administrator. It's just walking distance from my house =) Guess it isn't really that simple & idiot job as what you may think of. One will need to handle e bbq & tennis court booking, selling of events tickets, residents' complaints and even helping out of events etc.

Has always been thinking it'll be good to earn some extra income as a backup from full-time job. But still would prefer a fixed income part-time job rather than those what mlm job. Those job you have to work double hard & is more tiring lor. Though e outcome will be better if you willing to put in more effort & work almost 24hrs including your full-time job working hours =p Whereas for this, it's some sort of assist/serving e residents? *thumb up*

Look forward to e new lifestyle & hope I able to sustain =)

We walked all e ways down the street from jonker walk & passby melaka river and other point of attractions. Guess this is e longest walk as we walked all e ways back to e hotel =p the 3 of us who would be catching midnight movie headed back to e hotel to get some rest with my sis while e rest headed carrefour to continue with e shopping. My sis da bao porridge and had a rest after taking her medication while e 3 of us had a bath & short nap.

The next day, we had our complimentary breakfast at e hotel cafe. An international style. The food taste not bad. I found e mee goreng not bad =) Had forgotten to take e photos as was too hungry & happy over e delicious food =p After breakfast, we continue with e shopping as yesterday we had not shopped finish e area & my poor sis was too sick to be in e shopping mood. My twins & her mom stayed at hotel & rest. Helped my luv got his contact lens & I got e contact len solution. Happened to see one suitable size spectacle frame which I'm looking for. After 1-2hrs later, we went back to e hotel to check out & left our baggages with e concierge so that we could go for lunch. My twins & mom, my sis & I had A&W while e rest had chicken rice. On the way back, e tour guide dropped us at YOYO where it sells local snack. We didn't drop by at yong peng this time round as e passengers on e same bus chose to go to YOYO. Home sweet home~ Reached sg smoothly at around 6pm =)

Hope to visit penang & cameron highlands~ Guess it'll then mark e end of travelling of malaysia. Will then move on to thailand (some areas in bangkok not visited yet) & vietnam ;)

After dinner, we walked down to jonker street. Previously e van driver had told us how to walk over to jonker street. A nice stroll as we just had a full dinner. Jonker street is just like a nightmarket (pasarmalam). There are alot of stalls & with e shophouses & decorates, it looks like in e 60s. The famous shop that sells local snacks is also located here, San Shu Gong. The local cendol is also located here, but I find e taste average only =p I bought a digital clock with color LED light with doreamon print & my sis got a pooh bear print one. Though there are alot of pretty stuffs, but I didn't get them as I don't need it. It will be quite a waste to give or throw away after sometime.

Just back from a short malacca trip of 2D1N with my family, aunt & uncle and my twins & her mom =) Got this good deal online again. 2D1N stay at mahkota hotel for S$158 (2 pax) including two-ways transport. Meals on your own of course hehehe

Boarded the bus early in e morning from orchard grand hotel WTS travel HQ. Went by second-link and stop over at yong peng for quick bf & arrived at melaka mahkota hotel at around 1230pm. The queue for check-in was damn long. Booked 4rooms but only 1 room was ready. So we unloaded our baggages in e available room & headed to e megamall opposite for shopping. Mahkota Parade is located just opposite e hotel that we stayed. We had to cross a big road where e cars came down from expressway & e speed was really fast & we had to run across e road once we found any opportunity =p Got my small size photo (IC photo) taken over here. RM12 for 6pcs. After an hour at mahkota parade, we crossed over to another megamall. This megamall had north, south, east, west wings & link to carrefour another shopping mall. Had our tea break over here. My family went to cha chan ting, my twins & mom had chestnuts, sweet potato & drink and I had my fav fried sweet potato with plum powder from shi lin and A&W float =) My twins & mom went to bought tickets for midnight movie while e rest of us went back to hotel to get e keys for e other 3 rooms. All well end well. Is a chinese new year movie by hongkong actors & actresses. And e most funny scene is not from e movie, but is from e 3 of us who had e whole theater to ourselves only.

As we got 8 pax, we set off for our dinner at around 4+ to 5pm by van. We had satay celup which is also known as lok-lok. This is one of e famous local food. We went to e stall that had shorter queue. the original one is always super long queue & they both start operate at 5pm. Lucky when we reached, there is no queue, but soon later, it got more & more people. Is just like steamboat instead it is peanut sauce (satay sauce). We will drip e stick of raw food into e sauce & wait for it to be cooked. One stick is rm0.60. Really enjoyed e meal =)

last day of cny

Today mark e last day of cny. The fifteen of lunar january which is also known as yuan xiao. Another dong fang qing ren jie (chinese valentine day). Had last round of lou hei & steamboat =) Too hungry & had forgotten to take some photos of e yummy food =p

river angbao 2011

Today marks e last third day of cny. It will be e last day of cny on coming thursday. Hopefully it has been a nice & smooth one for most of you. If not, don't get discourage. There are still 11 months to go on. It'll definitely get better when e days passed. Have you been to the river angbao this year? Guess last sunday 13-feb was e last day. Had been to on saturday super hot & sunny afternoon =p Must be thinking I'm crazy right hahaha Went on such a hot weather & almost got bbq by e hot sun. Anyway that's e only day & time available for my sis & I =p Just drop by after having our lunch at hotel!re cafe =)

As years go by, I felt that e chinese decoration at this river angbao getting more & more simple. Still remember in the past year (2-3years back) the decoration was much nice. There were really pretty & cute zodics display. As they moved location, e decorations getting more simple. Walked finish the place in less than 45minutes. =p Food weren't that fantastic too.

Happy valentines day! Is a day for friends too besides couples, to show e extra loves beside daily loves =) How will you be celebrating yours? Hope you have a memorable & romantic one =)

Finally went to redeem my complimentary spa from posab multi-tude on last saturday. Is a cocoon spa from body contour =) It consists of body scrub, body musk using goat milk lotion and a short relax massage. It will make your skin smoother. *thumb up*

After the spa, head to hotelre! cafe for lunch. Finally there to redeem my S$25 voucher from GDS =) Must admit that the food is really not bad. Ordered a seafood hor fun, zing wings & re!filled burger. Although e color of e seafood hor fun look plain, it really taste nice. The ingredients conisist of big scallop & fresh crispy prawn. The zing wings are crispy. Beef platter juicy. Overall, I needed to top up for about S$7+ only. =)

Happy Birthday to everyone! Today is seventh day of lunar Jan. It's everyone birthday in chinese culture. Most people will have their lou hei (lao yu sheng) today also. Some will have a dish with 7 different kinds of vegetable to celebrate e day =)

Happy CNY to everyone! =D How's your long holiday & e house visit? I have been busy with e house visits over e 4 days of long holiday. Today is e fifth day. Back to work! Serious monday black because had been away from work for too long.

Went to malaysia to visit my grandma and relatives on e first day of cny. Back to sg on second day of cny at late afternoon. Had a shower & change into new clothes then headed to my grandpa's house for dinner. Had been waking up early & sleeping late for these two days. On day 3 of cny, another day packed of house visits. First was to visit my luv's parents & some relatives, then to my dad's godmom & my aunties'. Day 4, morning church service then to my luv's friend's rom, my relative's birthday celebration and last destination to my luv's sis's house.

Had e most cny goodies at my grandma's hse =x Prawn crackers, bak kwa & sweet drink =p Going to have more cuttlefish snack when I'm home for these few days hehe
