Finally went for korea bbq dinner yesterday =) 2D1N located at tanjong pagar road, along the shophouses beside maxwell hawker center. Overall e food not too bad. Various type & part of meat (beef, pork & chicken) for selection. Of course there are also vegetable, watermelon, kimchi, prawn, salad, korea seaweed soup, rice etc available. Can try it out if you are looking for better price korea bbq buffet =D Only cost S$20 (exclude 10% service charge, no gst over here) for an adult.

checkers nail

My pretty diy checkers nails hehe One hand on checker design, another on polka dots design again =D *blur image due to lousy camera phone*


Materials in use:
toothpick (to draw e line for checkers & dotting of polka dot)
basecoat & topcoat (from faceshop)
nail polish: white color (from Elf), purple (faceshop) & silverish glitter (from silky girl)

*tips: for easy apply of silver color, apply a layer of white color first*


Steps:

1. Apply a layer of basecoat, follow by purple color.

2. Use toothpick to dot & draw line using white color before dotting e silver color on.

3. Paint e part of e checker (silver) with white color before paint on e silver color.

5. Apply a layer of topcoat.

clementi mall

carrot cake mango pamelo sago
Drop by clementi mall before heading for a hair trim yesterday. Decided to go in & take alook and search for some bites =p Went down to e basement and it's filled with stalls of fd =) Saw this hongkong cafe with promotion going on for its mango dessert, we ordered a bowl to try. Had carrot cakes along too. Overall find e fd are either too salty or sweet for my taste =p

bintan trip

Had been busy arranging the transition period over last late week. Glad that I received good news on early friday morning before I left for my bintan short getaway =) It took just one day to receive e good news & get everything confirm. Long time since I had such feeling again. I'm moving on! Yes, finally =) Looking forward.
Had a short getaway 2D1N with my luv on fri and return back on saturday. It's a cloudy sat with drizzling till evening. No sunshine at all. The huge wave were quite unfriendly. First time taking a ferry that rock so bad due to the wave. The lady who sat beside me was having sea sick and vomitted -_-" But once she close her eyes for rest I knew she's one of those who will have sea sick.
Stayed at angsana bintan resort. They were having furnishing renovation. Hopefully the rooms will look nicer. Overall the room is still quite ok, but not much facilities in e resort. March is still a monsoon season, only limited water sports are available. Waves are unfriendly. How about the food? Only lotus cafe, pantai grill & veranda (provide beverages & home-made cakes). Price wise is definitely quite costly. Average usd20+ for a main dish. Menu in usd currency, but of cause you can request to make payment in sgd currency. The only other option for dining out with transport provided is to banyan tree. This is another resort under their group.

interrupted sleep

It's e second week at my part-time work and tonight will be e 7th day at work =) Survived e first week. For e past two days it's more quiet than first week. Guess it's common because e girl told me that during e first week she joined, it's also quite alot of residents walking-in to make booking. Anyway, will be starting e rotating shift from next week onwards. Had did a duty roster on Monday =) We will be working for consecutive then swop shift as there is only one set of keys. It'll be easier in this way ba.
Slept at 11pm last night, however I woke up at 2+am then 4+am then 6+am -_-" Seem like I've been waking up at every two hours interval huh =p When I first woke up at 2+am, I felt that I've slept for quite long but actually it's only 2+am. And It's so nice to sleep after 6+am especial when I need to woke up for work. Hmmm....I also don't why this happen haha But my twins told me that maybe my brain is still working as thinking will excited so hard to sleep. It's a sign of stress when I'm tired during daytime working hours. She experienced it when she's in cambodia working. Seriously don't know whether my brain is still working when I'm asleep anot and whether I'm stress LOL Guess it's always a good start off with a stressful job as your first job. I had mine when I graduated from poly and then moved on with part-time study and juggling among work, study and finance. As time go by, you'll feel numb towards e stress and you'll find yourself easier to handle stress ba ;)

wedding dinner

Attended e wedding dinner that held in sg was at Intercontiential hotel @ bugis on last friday 4-Mar. It's lunar 30jan which only appear on e calendar once every 4 years just like 29-feb =)Love e service lol That's because e waiters & waitresses will serve you for every dishes =) Ballroom spacious & grand. Guess e cost will be higher also ba =p The gifts were letter opener and salt & pepper shakers. Shark's fin was very nice, but think some people will protest from harming these going endanger animals. Other dishes taste not bad too & especially e dessert. It was their special desssert which mean only this hotel has it. There are some finger food served after e solomasation too.

wedding dinner (jb)

It's been almost a week? since I blog. Have been busy over e past two weekends attending my cousins' wedding dinner. One held in jb and one held in sg for e consecutive week. The one that held in jb was at sutra mall. A spacious ballroom with high ceiling. Guess this's e building structure of msia ba =p Food average because e prawns weren't that fresh. Dessert was honeydew sago, my fav! However, the relatives that we share e table with were of weird character =p They were my dad's cousins. They commented e food weren't nice enough especially e fish, prawn and lotus leave rice. That's because e village that they stay in was famous for fresh fish. But...this not e irritating part.
There was this uncle who commented that e roasted pig head was e most delicious part of e pig yet he's not eating. He insisted others to eat instead -_-" I was thinking that since you said that's e most delicious part, why not you had it and leave e rest of e part to other. In this case, you won't have to concern about getting high chloesterol for over consuming =p
Then there was this auntie who had her second serving of e shark's fin soup with e indgredients. And it left a spoonful of starch soup and insisting others to finish up as not to waste food -_-" Insisting people to finish up starch soup consider as not wasting food? then why don't she finish it up herself? =p Don't you think these characters are terrbile? Oh ya, this not e only terrible act that e auntie did. She ate e fried prawn & da bao e steam prawns! I wasn't feeling well so I didn't have e fried one. So does that mean I have to da bao e fried prawn of my share? Actually I intended to have a few more steam prawns since no one is having it, but I saw e auntie staring at e prawns and hinting e one beside her to scoop those prawns on a small plate. You must be thinking they were trying to clear e plate right? Haha NO! They scooped it because they wanted to da bao =p Anyway, this was e first time I met such incidents. Interesting eye opener & exposure =p
